About Our Rescue Group:

Pamela Randle Bloodhound Rescue and Safe Harbor is a non-profit organization founded in 2012 by Pamela Randle. Our mission is to rescue adoptable lost, abandoned, or surrendered Bloodhounds; to supply needed care and medical attention including being spayed/neutered; to provide them with re-socialization in foster homes; and to place them in permanent adoptive homes where they will be loved and properly cared for. We have future plans to acquire land to build a rescue sanctuary. We are always looking for great fosters homes, donations big and small, and of course, loving, forever homes.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Donations are very much appreciated and can be donated through paypal: or mailed to P.O. Box 840236, St. Augustine, FL 32080. Donations of $25 or more plus a $5 shipping charge ($30 total) will receive a ceramic mug with our logo on it. Please request the mug and provide a shipping address.

Come Meet our Pets:

Pamela Randle Bloodhound Rescue and Safe Harbor is not a shelter. We are a rescue organization that is network of volunteers and fosters. Dogs are placed into loving foster homes while they await their forever family.

Our Adoption Process:

Our adoption fee is $250 for all adoptions. All vaccinations and spay/neuter are done on dogs prior to adoption. Also, microchip is paid for by rescue while registration is paid by adopter. If one of our bloodhounds catches your heart, email us. We look forward to hearing from you.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
