About Our Rescue Group:

Forever Yours Dog Rescue is a foster based dog rescue, with all our dogs being kept in foster homes or doggie daycare until adopted. We are a non-profit 501(c) organization and all donations to the rescue are tax-deductible.

We rescue dogs regardless of breed, age, or medical condition from shelters throughout Oklahoma, especially small shelters that do not do public adoptions.

Our mission is to help dogs who otherwise might not get a chance to be adopted due to age, breed, or medical condition.

Home visit may be required for bully breeds.

Our adoption fee is $125.00 and includes spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, heartworm/erhliccia/lyme tests if dog is over 6 months old, deworming, microchip, and any other medical needed to enable that the pet is healthy before adoption. This could include orthopedic surgeries, wound treatment, ear/eye infections, dentals, heartworm treatment, and respiratory issues.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
