About Our Rescue Group:

Easy Street Horse Rescue is a N.Y. not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We operate strictly from donations from horse lovers and supporters. All support is appreciated, both in-kind donations and monetary. All horses coming through Easy Street Rescue will receive care and rehabilitation prior to being made available for adoption to homes where it is apparent that love and quality care will be given.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Tax deductible donations to help the horses can be made via PayPal to easystreetrescue@aol.com or mail a check payable to Easy Street Horse Rescue at 109 Langley Road, Amsterdam NY 12010.

Come Meet our Pets:

Please find our adoptable horses on our website at www.easystreetrescue.org and visit them on our Facebook - Easy Street Horse Rescue.

To visit the horses in person is by appointment only. Some horses are at foster homes so be sure to read the description to find where the horse is located and whom to call to visit it. All adoptions are through Easy Street Rescue, not through the foster home.

Our Adoption Process:

ADOPTION PROCESS: Nothing is written in stone regarding adoption guidelines. Our only goal is to find the best home for the horses that pass through our gates. If you can provide that home, we are more than willing to work with you. The Adoption Donation never covers the costs incurred for the horse, but only attempts to defray some of them so that more horses can be helped.
STEPS: 1) Visit the horse to see if itís a fit for both horse and adopter
2) Complete Adoption Application (download from web)
3) References checked and Site visit performed

Why should you adopt?

You will need to learn what to feed them, how much exercise or attention your horse needs, and many other important things about how to house and care for a horse.
