Come Meet our Pets:

About 1/3 of our cats are in foster homes but the rest of them reside at Meow House in Raleigh, NC. We welcome people to call and set up a time to come by and meet all the cats at Meow House. It's a great way to see their true personalities in a comfortable environment, both for you and them. If you see a particular cat on Adopt-a-Pet or on our website or facebook page that you'd like to meet, PLEASE give us a call. We'd be more than happy to make that happen! :) We also have cats in the adoption centers at the Cary, Raleigh, Garner or Smithfield PetSmart stores and rotate doing adoption events at each one on the weekends.

Our Adoption Process:

Adopter must fill out adoption application on our website and be approved. Adoption fee is $100. All cats will have had their spay/neuter surgery, appropriate vaccinations, dewormer & flea/tick prevention.

Our cats are indoor only cats and we require you to sign a contract stating you will not declaw any cat you adopt from us.

If for any reason you can't keep a cat you adopt from us or it just doesn't work out, we will ALWAYS take the cat back. ALWAYS. No Judgement.

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a cat or kitten versus getting cats for sale or kittens for sale from a cat breeder? When someone is breeding kittens, they are creating new cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of cat or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a cat for sale from a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with cats who must find homes. So rather than buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a cat or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
