Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:

We are a small dog rescue and a 501(c)(3) charity that serves Western North Carolina and the Tri State Area that includes 2 counties in Georgia and two counties in Tennessee

About Our Rescue Group:

Mission Statement: To end overpopulation of dogs and cats in our community by providing Low Cost Spay and Neuter Programs and community awareness.

To help abandoned and stray animals, get them healthy, and find them permanent, forever homes.

To raise money to support the two missions above and save lives.

Come Meet our Pets:

We rarely do adoption events, however, it's a simple process to do a "meet and greet" which usually happens at the foster's home or at our thrift store - whatever works for everyone.

Our Adoption Process:

We require a potential adopter to complete an application that includes vet references and information on the type of dog owner you have been in the past. Most times we require a fenced yard as most our dogs have been strays and we want them to remain in secure loving forever homes. We do home visits when possible. We also reserve the right to refuse an adopter that we feel might not be a good match for a particular dog.

Our adoption fee is normally $125, however, there are times when it might be higher.

Our Adopted Pets:

We have helped lots of pets connect with loving and caring owners. Check out our adopted pets list!

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life! What is the difference between adopting a dog or puppy versus getting dogs for sale or puppies for sale from a dog breeder? When someone is breeding puppies, they are creating new dogs who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog or puppy and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale from a puppy breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs who must find homes. So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog or adopt a puppy at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
