Pets at Our Rescue Group:
Cities, Towns, and/or Counties We Serve:We are a Bernese Mountain Dog Rescue, We don't have a shelter, we have foster homes set up through the US and Canada. We re-home berners that the families can't take care of anymore, rescue from shelters and puppy mills and we work together with other rescues. When we get a berner it will alway's go into a foster home first, where it will get vet care when needed, updated on shots, neutered or spayed and assessed by a trainer. After that the foster family will spend time socializing and helping the berner get ready for his or hers forever family.
About Our Rescue Group:We started off with members of our facebook group posting berners in need on our wall, people would go and rescue them out of shelters and members of our group would donate money to help them with the first bills. After a little berner mix girl showed up on our wall that was in a kill shelter our entire group came together to get her out, she went straight to the vet, was very sick, and she was fostered by one of our members. after she was ready she went to her forever home in new york city and she is one happy healthy girl now. This is when we decided to take it one step further and start our rescue BFWrescue.
Come Meet our Pets:We have one sweet 5 year old berner girl Peggy that is looking for her forever home. She has a short tail that is wagging all the time now.She came from a puppy mill where all she did was have puppies. She went from being scared of everything to now running to her foster mom for loving. She is warming up to her fosterdad and asks now to be pet. She likes to go on walks and is fine walking on the leash. She adored children, is fine with other dogs. She is make great progess in being house trained.
She loves being brushed and loves her daily massages, she is our little princess.
Peggy is spayed, up to date on her shots and will be ready next week to go to her forever home.
