Areas Crafty Cat Rescue serves
We have foster homes in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and the surrounding area, but our appointments are done at a few local pet stores (Huron Pet Supply on Jackson Rd in Ann Arbor, and Wags to Wiskers on Stadium in Ann Arbor). We do work with the Westland and Canton Petco stores,and cats currently housed there can be seen at those locations.

After filling out the application you will be directed to schedule an appointment.

Meet the Pet
You'll be able to meet many of our adoptable animals. Appointments are held at our main foster home in Ann Arbor, MI.
3.
Sign Adoption Contract
If approved you can sign the contract and then take your new pet home!

We receive the application before you make your appointment, and we may run a vet check. During your appointment we talk about your household and experience owning a pet. After that if things look good we proceed with the adoption contract.
Our adoption fee's are as follows:
Kittens up to 6 months - $100
Kittens 7 months - 2 years - $75
Cats 3-7 years - $50
Senior Cats over 8 years - $25
Guinea Pigs - $20
Hamsters/Mice (with a small cage) - $25 (without a cage $10)
Rabbits - $30
Rats - $15

Up to date on distemper vaccinations
Microchipped
De-wormed
Tested for Aids/Heartworm/Leukemia
Have had Flea treatment
Some, but not all, have Rabies shots.

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.
What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
