An adoption application is filled out prior to meeting a dog. A meet and greet is set up between the new dog, the family, and any existing dogs in the household. If all goes well there is a final home check and the adoption contract can be filled out. Adoption fees are applicable.

We are located in the Virginia Beach area of Virginia. We are hound lovers at heart and recognize the plight of the hounds in the southern states. In southern shelters there are many thrown away hunting dogs and outside dogs that probably have never known life in a house or part of a family. Every dog should know what it is like to be a beloved pet in a family's home. We aim to show as many dogs as possible what it is like to live in a warm, loving home.

Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
