Areas Revolutionary Rescue serves

Revolutionary Rescue is a small organization who are helping to re-home dogs one at a time. We are based in the Durham Region and believe in finding a perfect fit for our adoptables. We focus on TRAINING, NUTRITION and EXERCISE to help get our dogs where they need to be in order to find a perfect home. All of our dogs are in foster care where they are receiving lots of love and training. We are in no hurry to place our dogs so please have some patience with the process and we promise to do our best!

About Revolutionary Rescue

My name is Kerry and I began this journey 6 years ago when I quit my job to become a fulltime dog walker. I now have an employee and we offer all kinds of services including training, boarding, nutrition counselling and pack walks. During my time in this roll I have encountered many people looking to rehome their dogs. Whether they be clients, friends or friends of clients I found myself seeing these amazing dogs go without homes. So, I thought, I can most certainly find a PERFECT home for this dog. Not just a home.
So I started taking in dogs in need. One at a time. In my house 1-on-1 positive reinforcement training, a healthy home prepared diet and lots and lots of exercise!
We believe in giving all we have to the dog we have at the time, this includes any and all Vetting.

Revolutionary Rescue's adopted pets

Adopt a Pet is the easiest way for you to search for a new pet in Whitby, ON.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
