Washington, Oregon and Pacific Northwest. We place Texas dogs living in foster homes with families in the Pacific Northwest seeking healthy, family type dogs with great temperaments.

Submit Application
You should submit your application at saverescue.org/out-of-area-application. Please be sure to include the correct information for your vet

Interview
We will do a phone interview with you and you will be able to exchange videos and pictures wit the foster family
3.
Take the Pet Home
Once your fee is paid and transportation is arranged, we will connect you with the transporter so you can receive your new pet near your hom
Additional adoption info
Our fees are $500-650.and include transportation by Ground or Air transport if available. We make every attempt to get drop off as close to you as possible but all transports have standard stops. All dogs are heartworm negative, altered, microchipped and healthy. Cats are combo tested, altered and microchipped.

Since 2013, we have been sending dogs and puppies over 4 months to loving homes in the New England area, Canada and the Pacific Northwest. We have sent over 500 dogs and to new homes in these areas with great results. We work very hard to match the right dog to the family to create lifelong companions.

Why should you adopt?
Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.
What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
