Additional adoption info

At Twice Purrfect we believe that it’s usually the cat that picks the people, not the other way around. We strive to match our cats with the perfect family so that both adopters and adoptees have the best possible chance at long term success and bonding. If you are interested in one of our cats please see the details below on how to begin the adoption process. We are happy to let you spend time with our cats here at Petco, and we can also arrange a home visit if required to ensure that our cat will fit in with your home.

Reach out to Twice Purrfect via contact@twicepurrfect.org or text at 720-772-9175 and let us know who you are and which cat you are interested in visiting.
Fill out an adoption application at https://twicepurrfect.org/adopt
We will reach out and arrange a time to meet you so you can visit with our cat. This would be the time to suggest a home visit if you have other animals, or be prepared to bring your dog to the store to meet the cat.

Kittens are $125 to adopt
Adults are $75 to adopt

About Twice Purrfect Feline Rescue

History
Twice Purrfect Feline Rescue was founded in the early months of 2017 by a mother daughter team who have loved and cared for cats all of their lives. After working with several local rescues they decided it was time to start their own and provide the care they’d given their foster cats, as part of their home and family, to all cats they are able to save.

We are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all unwanted cats. Twice Purrfect specializes in the rescue of animals from high-kill shelters, bringing them to Colorado to give them a chance at a better life they would not otherwise be afforded.

Twice Purrfect consists of 100% volunteer fosters who house our cats and treat them like their own. It is our goal to make the transition from shelter to forever home as smooth as possible for both the cat and their new family. We do our best to match an animal with their forever home based on the compatibility between the animal and their new home.

Support adoption and rescue. Why go to a dog breeder, cat breeder or pet store to buy a dog or buy a cat when you can adopt?

Why should you adopt?

Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you'll have a friend for life.

What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?

When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.

So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
