Red's story...
RED is a gorgeous orange and white pit mix from one of NYC's shelters. She was rescued after slowly becoming the old-timer at the kill-shelter. People loved her so each time she got on the euth list she was given another chance. She's a sweet 4 year old girl with puppy energy and gusto despite her age. RED loves to play with people. She is affectionate with everybody, licking their hands and faces. But she has been with her current fosterfor too long. She desperately needs to find her PERMANENT HOME or at the very least, a new foster home.

RED's foster parents wrote this about her:
"Red is a wondeful high energy dog that loves to go for walks and play with plastic bottles. We are working on fetch. She is 50/50 right now with it. I wouldn't recommend Red go to a household with a cat, she is a little rough in her play. She does well with kids at home and dogs on walks but would prefer to be an only dog or a playmate to one dog because she gets a little nervous in multiple dog enviroments unless constantly engaged."

If interested in RED, please contact April IMMEDIATELY at 917-270-3841 or email muttsandmitts@optonline.net. No time is too late to call... It is free to foster. To adopt it costs $200, which covers her spay, shots-to-date and her microchip.

RED is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Although she is currently living in PA with ehr foster, she can be transported to you.
