Bonnie's Story...
Bonnie is an adorable, sweet little girl who lost her home when her previous owners had to move and could not take her along. Bonnie is very calm and loving. When we got her, Bonnie was badly matted and flea infested. Her fleas have been banished along with the matted hair, so she now feels a bit "naked" with her hair clipped so short in the cold weather. A soft plush bed has become her favorite place to stay snuggled up. Bonnie loves to cuddle, romps around in the yard and is an all-round great little dog!!! She sleeps quietly at the foot of her foster mom's bed every night, and stays there until she is taken out for her morning potty break. Bonnie seems to be reliably house trained, is never destructive, and always glad to see you. She's a day-brightener for everyone. Do you need a little sunshine in your life?

Bonnie is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $225. If you would like to meet her in person, please call Judy at 770.351.7377 for more information on how to adopt Bonnie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Atlanta Maltese/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Shih Tzu for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Maltese/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Maltese/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
