Dawn's Story...
It’s a new Dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life for me. And I’m feeling good! Now I just need a home of my very own to put the finishing touch on these great changes I have been through. I had a pretty rough life, living outside at the end of a chain but then my lucky day came! It’s like dusk to dawn…the difference a gentle hand, a soft bed and a lot of love can make! After spending some time in a foster home, learning things like housebreaking and crate training… and getting some much needed TLC, I am now ready to find a forever family who is just excited about bringing me into their lives as I am. I’ve gotten used to being pampered, and it ain’t gonna stop now! I won’t mind rising each morning with another canine friend, or even a kitty cat (so long as they don’t mind the occasional chase around the living room) and let me tell ya, I’d love to shine my light on some respectful children…all the gentle love and love and affection they have to share will keep my little tail wag, wag, waggin! As you can clearly see, I am a super sweet gal and I am super ready for this new life with you! Sure as the sun rises…
8 years old-65lbs. My adoption fee is $120 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dawn, a Portland Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Portland, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
