Hanna's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Hanna's Story...
Hanna is a 3 ½ year old, small 6 lb. Maltese. She was originally adopted from a Southern California shelter for a person in the central valley of California. The person was not able to take care of her so Maltese Rescue was asked to help Hanna find a new adoptive family.

Hanna is a quiet, gentle little dog who prefers a calm living environment. She is easily frightened so she would do best with an experienced dog person and a home without young children.

Hanna will be at the Petco in Irvine, CA this Saturday, Dec. 7th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please drop by and meet Hanna and other Maltese rescue dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hanna, a Covina Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Covina, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Covina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covina paves the way for another one to be saved.
