SAWYER's Story...
SAWYER is a terrier mix pup born on 10/1/13. His parents were both terrier mixes, so he will likely not exceed 25 lb. at maturity. He is a little shy when encountering new people or new situations but is very sweet and friendly once he feels safe with you. He plays well with his littermates. He has had his first two sets of puppy shots, has been de-wormed, and is current on flea, tick and heartworm preventive. This is a courtesy posting. This dog is not affiliated with P.S. I Love You! Animal Rescue but is fostered by another party. For more information, please contact Janel Miller at dogrefuge@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SAWYER, a Glastonbury Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Rat Terrier for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
