Carter's Story...
Carter is a super cute, wonderful little Hound mix and is eager to please, loyal, intelligent and good with all people and other dogs. As a younger dog, Carter enjoys athletic activities, and daily exercise keeps him content and happy by the fireplace at night in his foster home. He has been crate training and is good on leash, in the car, etc. He is not an excessive barker and loves to learn new things. He's with kids and would make an amazing family dog. Carter would enjoy having a family and forever home for the holidays! Who can resist Carter's wonderful smile!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carter, a Lebanon Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Lebanon, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Lebanon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lebanon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lebanon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lebanon paves the way for another one to be saved.
