Tip's Story...
Tip is an adorable 13 week old Border Collie/Husky mix female. At 12 Lbs, she is a little ball of happy, playful and affectionate energy. Tip loves to play with her brother, Liam, as well as the older dogs in her foster home. Cats are of interest, and she's learning to mind her manners around felines. Crate-trained and almost completely house-trained, she will let you know when he needs to go outside to potty. Cuddly and affectionate, she is also learning how to walk nicely on a leash.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tip, a Huntsville Border Collie/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Husky for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Border Collie/Husky puppy from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Husky breeders who help with Border Collie/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
