Levi is a 5 year old Basset/Lab mix and weighs in at 55 lbs. How can anyone resist that face!?! He came from a high kill shelter and is so grateful to have a second chance at a FORever home. This sweet boy is FULL of love and he wants to be RIGHT with you. He is great with dogs, cats and kids. He currently shares his foster home with two other large breed male dogs. Levi is learning to walk on a leash and handles correction well. He enjoys riding in the car and basically being anywhere you are. If you can provide this precious boy with a loving, FORever home - please email us at info@FORrescue.net He is neutered, current on his vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and current on heartworm/flea prevention. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Levi, a Hamburg Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
