Lowa-Aka Wiggle Butt's Story...
Oh sweet Lowa. Lowa is approximately 1 year old and weighs about 35 pounds. She and her brothers and sisters escaped death after we were able to bring all 7 of them home and care for them until we could find their forever home. Lowa loves her humans like no other. She is a little ball of wiggling energy, but will calm down to cuddle once she gets her initial meets and greets out of the way. She will give you a greeting like you have never experienced. We can promise that no one will ever be as excited for you to come home from work, or even the mailbox than Lowa. She has the softest coat of fur which is great for cuddling. She will need an active family to give her plenty of exercise, preferably with a fenced in yard. Lowa does well in her crate while her foster Mommy and Daddy are at work. She would prefer a quite home which is routine oriented. All Lowa wants is her people, her yard, and her playtime. Simple as that. Lowa is up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchiped, heartworm negative, and kept on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Lowa is currently being fosterd in TN, but will be transported to New England via H.E.A.R.T.S., LLC Transport (www.heartsllc.com) once we have a confirmed adoption. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lowa-Aka Wiggle Butt, a Westport Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Westport, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
