Chad the Goofball's Story...
Chad is a 3 year old cat that needs a new forever home. He is a nice black cat that has had a loving home. The only problem is that he lives on a very busy street and he likes to dart out the door every chance he gets. If he lived off the street he would be a happy indoor/outdoor cat but we would like him to be mostly indoors. He likes to be petted and has a very sweet disposition. He is a goof ball. He flops down on his side and begs for petting. His adoption fee is $85 and he has been neutered and is up to date on his shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chad the Goofball, a Fredericksburg Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fredericksburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Fredericksburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fredericksburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fredericksburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fredericksburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
