Dasani's Story...
Hi, I am Dasani...I know, not very creative, but I am a very relieved girl. You see, I was abandoned at a rescue workers home, but I knew what to do and ran straight into the garage. I am a very smart girl and know how to get into everything. I love to run and play. I also like to hang out on the cat tree. I love to be petted and reward you with lots of purrs, head bumps and happiness. I am a torti, but don't let that fool you because I get along with everyone and love to play. I also have a lot of orange, so I am a very light torti and very pretty and just a little plump, but that makes me cuter. I have been fixed and am ready to go. Won't you come meet me and take me home? I am waiting for you...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dasani, a Tampa American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
