Bella . . . her name suits her to perfection! She is a beautiful, Flame Point Siamese. But she is so much more than beautiful. She possesses a gentleness and serenity that can be felt when in her presence. People often comment that she is like a Buddha, the quintessential "contemplative cat". Seemingly attuned to nature and life around her, she has a calm and peaceful aura. Bella brightens a room just by being in it.

Bella shows affection in her own unique way. She will sometimes rub against you, but much prefers to offer her grooming abilities as a show of love. She will give enthusiastic licks to hands, arms and foreheads. Whatever exposed skin is available on you, or any kindly friend who come her way. She will listen for your footsteps so she can greet you at the door to bestow a welcoming lick and hold herself close for a little petting. Not terribly fond of petting, she will accept some touching for short periods of time. Despite this quirk she makes friends quickly with gentle visitors, adults and children.
Not a lap cat, Bella does enjoy sitting near you in the evenings. She does not venture much into the world of play. And she often chooses a sunny window spot to settle in and view the world outside. Her last activity in the evening, when the lights go off, is to take a quick spin up and down the stairs, and around the apartment before settling in for the night.

While still a kitten, Bella gave birth to a litter of four, outside and alone in the Central Valley. Thankfully they were rescued and she was adopted shortly after. After a couple of months it was decided to bring a second cat home to keep her company, and luckily one of her kittens
was still available, so her son Jojo was reunited with his Mother.

Bella is absolutely devoted to Jojo. She snuggles with him to nap during day or night and loves to groom him. She is very accepting of his more outgoing and mischievous nature and if fed first, will even leave food in her dish for him.

Bella will be happy in a quiet and calm home and would do very well with a loving family, couple, or single person. She is accustomed to peaceful surroundings. Although she also enjoys company and visitors. She is inextricably bonded with Jojo and as long as they are together she will continue to be happy and content.
