Zeus's Story...
Zeus is a 10 month old Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix, who is as gentle as they come. Zeus stands 26 inches tall and weighs 87 lbs- he is a big boy!

Zeus is very shy around humans, and needs a patient family who will work with him and love him and his quirkiness. His foster family continues to work with him and will be happy to talk to anyone that feels they could be the understanding and loving home he needs. Zeus also needs another dog in his forever home to play with. The company of another dog definitely makes him feels more comfortable. He gets along with all sizes of dogs, cats, and children.

If you think you are the perfect home for this gentle giant, please submit an adoption application. If you give this guy a chance he will be forever grateful, loving, and loyal.

Zeus is microchipped, neutered & up to date on his shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at if you'd like to meet him. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a Cincinnati Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
