My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aspen is a playful, happy dog looking for a family to love. We found him at a nearby county kill shelter where his days were numbered due to overcrowding. Thank goodness we got him out in the nick of time. He is a precious dog, so sweet and friendly. Aspen loves to play with other dogs. He romps and runs and plays with little dogs and big dogs. At 22 lbs. he mixes well with all of them and does great with all personality types. He is gentle with the shy dogs and stands up for himself with the bossy ones. We have not seen Aspen with children but he should do very well with them. He does not like cats. Aspen is a great house dog. He is crate-trained and housebroken and walks wonderfully on leash. He is quiet so would do well in an apartment or townhome setting. Aspen is about 2 years old and has been neutered, microchipped and brought up to date on his shots. He has tested heartworm negative and is on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks. To meet Aspen, please first complete the adoption application at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the application, please call 336.251.8877 to make an appointment to visit with Aspen at our adoption center. We are there by appointment only. The appointments are generally scheduled for between the hours of noon and 4 pm or after 7 pm any day of the week, holidays included. All family members, including other dogs, should plan to come to the meeting. Thank you!
