Jojo is a happy, handsome Flame Point Siamese, a little over 8 years old. Curious and friendly by nature he thrives on visitors, stimulation and variety. Not very vocal, he rarely meows, and only if he needs to communicate something important. Jojo has a loving and sweet personality. His face is very expressive and it is obvious that he can communicate his love non-verbally.
Jojo was born with two good front legs, but his back legs are missing the bone that attach his ankles to his paws. This really doesn't slow him down (he can run really fast and even climb a bit) except that he cannot really jump. He has no pain and takes no medications for this condition. He is a healthy cat in all other respects. He is on a diet of good quality dry food (currently Hills C/D).
He is content to be a totally indoor kitty, but has enjoyed the outdoors, chasing butterflies, smelling garden plants, or just stretching out in the sun, when he had access to a safe, enclosed space.
Very intelligent and coordinated, he likes games and has fun playing with adults and children. He has been taught to bat a rolled ball back to you. He's so good at this he can play with two people at once, returning the ball to each in turn. He occasionally likes to play chase and hide and seek. And also likes to wrestle very gently with his Mother, Bella.
Jojo enjoys a massage or to be gently petted. He often hides at first when friends or family come to visit but soon emerges to join the fun. Once he feels comfortable with visitors he will curl up next to you to listen in on the conversation. He also enjoys soft music and seems love it if you pat his back to the beat. Or if you feel like dancing, he is happy to be held against your shoulder for a waltz and perhaps even take a twirl around the "dance floor" with you. He is an affectionate boy and would like to sit in your lap in the evening and bestow kitty kisses on your fingers before he stretches out for the end of day.
Jojo is absolutely bond with his Mother Bella so it is important that they be adopted together. He and Bella have always lived in a tranquil and calm environment and they are looking for a calm and peaceful adult household, or a kind and loving family with compassionate older children.
