Here's what the humans have to say about me:
KOBE is a one-year-old male Akita who has come to us after his owner could no longer keep him due to moving. Kobe, gets along well with most female dogs, and is respectful of cats but will chase if the cat runs. Kobe will do best in a home with another dog. He is leash trained, social, and knows basic commands. Kobe will have surgery Dec 16th for bilateral entropion ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entropion ) on both of his eyes.
Kobe is a very large but very sweet goofy fellow. His prognosis after surgery is excellent and he will make a full recovery.
If you're interested in this gem of a boy, please go to: www.bigeastakitarescue.net and fill out an online adoption application for Kobe :)
