Bob's Story...
Bob is a young, large male with a big personality. He was surrendered to Broken Tail Rescue after he needed emergency surgery to repair a hernia. Bob is the ultimate good sport. Even after a second surgery, more stitches and a cone, Bob still just wants to sit on his foster mom's lap, give her hugs and play with his toys non-stop. Bob enjoys being held, and is also a great help with the computer. According to the vet tech who cared for Bob after his surgery, "The first person who meets Bob is going to fall in love and adopt him."

If you are interested in finding out more about Bob, please fill out an application on our website. Bob is being fostered in Framingham.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bob, a Worcester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
