Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Peanut's mom is Baby that is also listed with BHS. Peanut (born late July) and her sister were slowly being starved when BHS rescued them. Unknown by the previous owner, puppies can not survive on their mothers milk only at the age of 8 weeks. Peanut had several traumatic injuries from being attacked by an adult dog which were later repaired at surgery on 10/23/13. He had a deep puncture on his face & a wall hernia located Right of the midline on the abdomen near the end of the ribs. Exploration of the abdomen revealed fully healed small fissures in the liver. Thanks to BHS Peanut now can have a healthy happy life.
Now that Peanut is healthy he is enjoying being a puppy. He is very energetic and hyper when I let him out of the kennel. He is learning to play fetch. He would be best with a fenced in yard where he can run and get his energy level down. I would not have him around young children because of his energy level. He gets along great with other puppies and adults.
Peanut is learning to walk on a leash. He is about 50% housebroken. If you have the time and energy to train Peanut, he would love to meet you.
