Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have figured it out! Harper needs to be an only cat in a household with not a lot of change. She wants nothing to do with the other cats at the foster home. When her foster mom scoots all the other cats out of her room and lets Harper be the only one, she jumps on the bed and purr purr purrs. She wants lots of love and attention. She has now been using the litter box very consistently. We think it was just that she was so incredibly bonded with her girl that it broke her heart to see her leave for college and she might have thought the girl's mom had something to do with it. There was also another cat in that house and a child. The combination over stressed her and she acted out by peeing. Now that we have seen her change back to a content cat her misbehavior has stopped. So we are now looking for a home for her where she can be the only cat, have a quiet life, and not have any big changes foreseen (having kids, adding another cat or dog down the road, ect..).
If you would like to foster to adopt her, we will help you with her transition to her new home and closely work with you to make sure any issues or concerns you may have will be given 100% of support by our foster program. Please contact us today if you have no other cats and would like to give Harper a chance. She has so much love to offer you as a companion. Please don't pass her up!
