COCOA's Story...
Cocoa - Shih-Tzu - Lhasa Apso
Male - 2 -3 years old
Cocoa is one of the sweetest dogs ever!! He loves everyone! People, dogs of all sizes, children and even cats! He's a little goofball who loves to run and play and has such a care free attitude! He would love nothing more than to just be loved an to give love back. Our dream for Cocoa would be to find a family with children or other pets so he can be and stay the happy guy that he is! He really is a very, very happy dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

COCOA, a New Windsor Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso for sale in New Windsor, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in New Windsor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Windsor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Windsor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Windsor paves the way for another one to be saved.
