My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pets Bring Joy supports special-needs kitties!
Ihop is one of the most fortunate kitties in the PBJ line-up! He was left at a rural shelter by a Good Samaritan who found him with a very badly shattered rear leg and hip.  Despite the excrutiating pain that he was in, Ihop remained friendly to all.  When PBJ learned of his situation, we rescued him and rushed him to our veterinarian, who determined that amputation was the best course of treatment.  He came through his surgery beautifully, and is making a rapid and complete recovery.  He's happy, playful, and so, so grateful to finally be pain free! Ihop is in a multi-cat foster home, and does beautifully with them all.  (That's Ihop snoozing with Winkie, another PBJ kitty (see separate bio), in two of the photos -- they are best kitty friends!).  Because he truly appreciates having both human and kitty companions, we wish to either place him as a pair along with another PBJ cat (ideally Winkie) or in a home where another friendly kitty already lives. Bonus:  Ihop is a polydactyl (extra-toed) kitty, which many people find particularly charming!

The last photo shows Ihop and his friend Mark Mabel. Ihop and Mark Mabel are BFF's (best FELINE friends), and so we hope to place them as a bonded pair in the PURRfect home.
