Chloe's Story...
Chloe is such a well-mannered brown nosed tabby who loves to flop belly up and find a cozy place to chill out. She is a delicate girl who would do very well in a quiet home – perfect for a companion for an older person or someone who doesn’t mind an independent and neat cat for company. She is extremely playful with her toys and especially likes her feather or mouse toys. Her face lights up with full attention when it’s playtime and she has really come a long way in her foster home. She lives with other cats who constantly encourage her to become the beautiful and confident girl we all know she can be. Wouldn’t you like to provide a home for this girl and help with adopting a “less desirable” cat? It is truly amazing to watch her gain trust for humans. Through love and kindness she will transform into a loving girl. She wants to be “kneaded”

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chloe, a Rochester American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
