My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a beautiful black tri female with a lovely tail? Well you've just found her! Layla is approx 4 yrs old and had come into the program with another dog, both strays from the shelter.

Layla is sweet and reserved. She takes to woman quicker than men, who knows what her past was like! She plays well with the two Aussies in her foster homes, plays tuggie with them and likes to play ball. Layla is crate trained and her house training is coming along well. She has met a couple toddlers and seemed fine with them however I wouldn't say she is good with all children, older children may be fine.

Layla's foster home has taken her to a couple of dog events and she had done wonderfully. Great with all the people and dogs and was even relaxed enough to lay down and chew on a chewie!

Layla's perfect home would be one that will be patient with her (especially the men in the home) and help her come out of her shell a bit more, her foster home is doing a great job with her. I would prefer her go to a home with another dog and one that knows Aussies.
