Willis's Story...
Willis is just one of those nearly perfect little dogs, he is approx 8 yrs old, he looks like a bichon mix, when we rescued him his coat was in very poor condition , but he looks marvelous now!!.. he does have cataracts and the eye vet has him on eye drops to help but this cutie gets around really well, you would never know he had them, he is a happy boy, always wagging his tail, very quiet and well behaved, loves his doggie bed or sleeping on my bed at night, gets on great with the other dogs, well house and leash trained,he loves going on walks he is just a wonderful dog to have around and would be great in an all adult home, i think he would like a quieter he is just precious

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willis, a Norwalk Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
