My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scotty is very gentle and sweet. Our veterinarians best guess is that he is a Bengal (we have him listed as a Bengal Mix). He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, tested (negative) for both FIV and FeLv, up to date on flea, ear mite and parasite prevention and house-trained/litter-box trained. He was front declawed at the time of his rescue. Scotty is a miracle boy, he truly is! Please click here to read our blog post detailing Scotty's rescue/recovery: http://www.advocates4animals.com/blog/scottys-amazing-rescue/

We are all amazed at Scotty's amazing resilience and his wonderful spirit. Once he reaches his ideal weight (he is still very thin)-- he will be a large cat (he has a large frame and long legs). He loves to sit on your lap, to be petted, and to snuggle. He does fine with other cats. He is very nervous around large or hyper dogs-- therefore if a dog is in his forever home, he prefers that it be a small dog and one that will give him space (not be in his face). Scotty also prefers a home with no small children as he does best in a calm environment (does not like to be chased, etc.). We all adore Scotty, here at A4A and we are in search of finding him a loving, forever home that is a good fit for him! He really has so much love to share. He loves a treat of wet/canned cat food each day, and he loves to curl up in his cat bed too. He has a great purr and is just so grateful for every day!

Our veterinarians estimate that he is approx. 3 years old (best guess). Scotty's rescue is truly a miracle-- and he is such an incredibly sweet boy!
