Sherlock's Story...
Please do not forget about Sherlock! He was adopted through us about 6 months ago, as a baby. His owners are older and cannot keep up with a puppy. He is 7-8 months old, neutered and fun! Can you offer him a more active home?

A male neutered Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix with brindle coloring. Born on 5/18/13. He has had all his puppy vaccinations and rabies shots, and we will provide the paperwork along with his rabies tag.

He is almost housebroken. He is doing better on his leash training, he is kennel trained and he gets along well with other dogs. He would do well in a home with children who could play with him and burn off some of his energy. We are just too old for a dog as active as Sherlock

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherlock, a Alliance Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua for sale in Alliance, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Alliance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alliance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alliance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alliance paves the way for another one to be saved.
