Chip's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Chip's Story...
Chip, along with his mom and 8 littermates, was dropped off at the shelter the day he was born. All of them were placed on the euthanization list. They were all rescued and taken to a foster home. 6 of the litter were sick and weak. They needed to be tube fed and bottle fed. Chip is the only one of the 6 sick puppies that survived. The other three littermates were healthy and remained with their momma. When they were about 6 week s old Chip’s littermates moved to his foster home. Since then, Chip has lived with his littermates and 2 other puppies who are 5 days older than them. He also lives with several dogs of other breeds and sizes. Chip loves to play with the other dogs and puppies. He is a very loving puppy who deserves a family who is willing to work with him and as he gets bigger to make sure he is a well-behaved adult dog.

Born September 1, 2013

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chip, a Las Cruces Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Las Cruces, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Las Cruces.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Cruces already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Cruces breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Cruces paves the way for another one to be saved.
