Snow's Story...
Snow (group shot: Far right side pup, top row) and her littermates were saved from an abandoned home where they had been left by themselves. She has wavy wirey hair on the back of her neck and down the middle, she's very shiny! They are four months old and weigh in the 11 lb range at this time. They are sweet babies that are only shy for a little bit til they know you...then they are cuddle bugs. They will not be large dogs, maybe in the 20-25 lb range at full grown. They like toys and love other pets too. They are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations and can come to their new homes on the weekend! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snow, a Brattleboro Feist/Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Feist/Whippet for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Feist/Whippet dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Feist/Whippet breeders who help with Feist/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
