Hi – I’m Tahoe – a yellow lab mix. What am I mixed with you ask? Well, we aren’t quite sure. Perhaps a Shepherd because I am tall & lean. I also have brown freckled spots down my legs. I am very light colored – almost white. I have green eyes and a pink nose, lips & eye lashes. My foster mom says I am quite stunning. I believe I am about 1 years old – still very much a puppy with lots of energy. I weigh 68 pounds currently, but I am on the skinny side so I anticipate adding 10 pounds or so as I continue to grow.
I am a real love bug. If you allow me to, I will stand up on my 2 back legs & give you a hug. But if that is too much, I am happy to snuggle with you on the ground. I enjoy giving kisses and being close to my family. I am also a leaner – if you are standing, I will lean against you just to say hi. I am tall so watch out. I am a happy go lucky kind of guy and just want to make you happy. I am smart and listen well. Help me understand what you want from me and I will deliver.
I am already potty trained & house trained. I am curious but not destructive so you can trust me in the house. I walk well on a leash and know some basic commands already. My foster mom is working with me every day to teach me new things. I so enjoy learning. I absolutely love other dogs. I am living with 2 dogs currently and would absolutely love another k-9 sibling in my forever home. I am also good with cats and won’t bother them. I am kind and gentle so kids would make me happy too. Just remember I am a tall dog so I may accidentally knock over little ones only because I am such a happy boy. I am neutered & current on all of my shots. All I need is to find my forever home. Could that be you?
