Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bailey is a beautiful 55 lb. 10 month old golden lab cross male who came to Saskatoon via a northern rescue. He is a very lovely dog and very people orientated. He is definitely getting used to city life and living in a house. Bailey appears to have had a rough start to life and suffered some abuse at the hands of others. He is scared of men initially, any quick movements and raised voices. He absolutely loves women and loves his foster mom. He has warmed up to his foster dad and loves to go outside with him. He is pretty laid back for a full grown puppy and when hesitant or scared will become submissive.
Bailey seems to be very good around dogs his own size and plays well. He is working on learning how to share treats with other dogs, and how to play with toys.
Bailey is very smart and a fast learner. Within a week at his foster home he learned his name, how to sit and not to be scared of stairs. He doesn't know his way around toys yet so hasn't been doing much retrieving or playing with humans. Bailey is learning to walk on a leash. He doesn't pull much unless excited or scared. Bailey is learning to go in his crate but doesn't like it very much yet.
Bailey just wants to be loved and belong. He will be a very loyal dog and he is well suited for a family who can give him lots of attention and love. He is a cuddle button and loves belly rubs.
