Clay's Story...
I’ll be putty in your hands! Shape me, guide me, and mold me into the perfect dog you have always wanted! The only limitation is your imagination and dedication! I am a young lad and have a lot of wonderful years ahead of me to share with you, now that’s what I call potential! I would love to share my life and future home with wonderful children, plus I love to play with other dogs and cats, but don't expect me share my goodies with them. So if I am going to share my home with other dogs, I'd like to be sure we're well matched for one another. Don’t worry about me making a Clay mess in my crate, because I am getting crate trained here and will keep my area neat and clean! Think of all the wonderful things we can have together build together, think of the living art you could display forged from your love and dedication, then think of me.1 years old-46lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clay, a Portland Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in Portland, or seeking a Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
