Alexis's Story...
Hey there, I'm Alexis! I'm a sweet young lady whose estimated birthday is June 9, 2012. I was flown up from a shelter in Savannah, GA in June, 2013 to Happily Ever After in hopes of increasing my chances of finding a forever home! I tested positive for heartworm disease, so HEA gave me the life-saving treatment that I needed, and now I'm ready to rock and roll! I'm a very loving lady, through and through, and would love nothing more than a nice home with lots of laps for me to rest on! If you think that you might have what I need (you know, a nice warm home with laps for snuggling!) please come visit me at HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center soon! Love, Alexis

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexis, a Green Bay Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
