Hi!
SO glad to be here in the cool northeast! I was lucky that my previous family knew they could not take care of me, and contacted that nice rescue lady in Louisiana. She took me in, and vetted me. At the time, I had skin trouble, due to the humidity and heat. They tell me that Westies can have this type of trouble, and that I needed to head north! That nice lady vetted me, cared for me and made sure I got onto transport to a licensed rescue in RI called Little Paws 4 u. Since I have been here, my skin troubles have gone away and my fur is grown back. I was taken to the vet by Judy, of Little Paws 4 U. The vet really felt that I might need a bath every now and then, and maybe a grain-free food. He was right...I look good now! Not a major problem! I am in foster care in Foster RI....I am five years old and have the papers to show that I am pure-bred and even have a birth-date! I weigh right around 20 pounds and love to eat! I am somewhat independent, but still like to play with other dogs and sit with my foster family....overall, they tell me I am a good boy! I would love a family which is around in the day, to attend to my need for company. My fee of 385. covers vetting to date, neutering, transport to RI, a Health Certificate, an exam by a RI vet and I have a collar and blanket too.
