My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baby Holly is one of a litter of six pups we rescued from a shelter. We believe they are German Shepherd Dog, probably mixed with Labrador Retriever. Whatever their mix, they are simply adorable. They are just over eight weeks old right now and will probably be on the small end of the large dog scale or on the high end of the medium dog scale.

These pups are fun, silly, and oh lovable. They are all ready to find loving families to call their very own. Could yours be one of them?

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Holly or one of her litter mates, please complete and submit the application found under RESOURCES near the top of our home page at throwmeabonedogrescue.org.

All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live.

Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed, de-flea'd, is up to date on shots, is spayed/neutered, microchipped, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead & collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
