Jax is a handsome young dog. He is a pitbull/lab mix, approximately 2 years in age. This gentle giant breaks all the stereotypes of a pitbull. Jax is a very calm dog when he is in the house where he is content to lounge around and chew on his favourite treats, as long as he is in your presence he is happy.

Jax is great because he does not bark, he greets people gently and is completely house and crate trained. Jax's young side comes out when people will wrestle with him as well as when he goes for walks. Jax recently discovered the wonders of an off-leash run and could not be more overjoyed about it. He loves to run around in the trees and bound through the grass. There is never a dull moment with Jax as he tries to have a conversation with you through a number of grunts and groans.

Jax has gotten along great with the other dogs in his foster home and would love some new siblings but he would also be happy to be the only dog in a home and hog all the attention to himself.
