My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Great Pyrenees/Collie
Age: 7 months
Weight: 32.pounds currently
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats:Yes
Good with kids: Not Tested Yet
Energy Level: Medium

Finley is a beautiful young Pyrenees/Collie mix puppy. He is currently with his siblings Gemma, Winnie and Audrey. He looks a lot like his sister Audrey. He has a medium energy for a puppy. She plays well with other dogs. Finley loves squeaky toys and will hold them in his mouth to show them off. He also likes to play ball and will hog it from other dogs. He will toss it in the air for himself if there is no one to play with him.. He likes a good petting. Finley is a handsome boy who would make a great companion and would like to hangout with you on the couch or on his very own bed. Can you give Finley the love and forever home he needs?

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)

NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
