My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annie is a demure Calico kitty about 6-7 years old who recently lost her loving guardian. She's especially fond of men, but would certainly warm up to any loving friend, male or female. She is sweet and petite. Calm and quiet. If there was an award for "Most Lady-Like Kitty", she would win it!

Loves to purr and reach out with her little white paws. Very affectionate, she head-bumps and will rub against your legs or roll over to show she trusts and loves you. Not fond of other cats, she is fearful and will run away from them. She has been raised in an indoor only, one cat home so she is most comfortable in a quiet adult environment. She doesn't seem to be bothered by dogs, though, and would probably be fine with a gentle canine in the house.

A mouse on a string is her idea of fun for playtime. But additional exposure to other kitty toys might expand her horizons in this area. She also enjoys her scratch post for a little extra-curricular activity.

Annie seems to be a very grounded kitty. She does not like to be up on things or to climb. She's not really a jumper. So you won't find her on any tables or counter tops.

She is currently on a diet of organic wet food and does not eat kibble.
She was overweight when rescued, so no treats for this little girl.

Annie has been used to a quiet, tranquil home and is looking for a kindred soul to purr for.
If you have a place in your home and your heart for this warm little girl she will return your love in kind for many years to come.
