DOB 11-14-09
Pete is the cutest little wire haired Dachshund around, very sweet and loves to be held, wants to bond in the worse way. Pete had a home but when his mom passed away the adult kids threw him outside, when he chased a chicken they dumped him at the clinic to be euthanized. Poor little Pete is so lost, he needs a mom asap. He's a little guy, gets along great with other little dogs, likes to play but would rather be held and snuggle on the sofa. Pete is up to date on all medical now, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative.
If you have trouble loading the on line application link please email for a copy and paste.
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application
here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.
After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not meet he/she will be adopted to that home.
Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
