Important Note

Donald is best friends with Daisy Deuce. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Donald is a 9 yr old neutered Lab mix who is bonded with his sister Daisy (2). This pair must stay together. Donald weighs about 65lbs. He is a sweet and friendly dog who gets along well with other dogs and cats. We are uncertain of his ability with children as we have not had the exposure since he has been with us. Donald is heartworm negative, current on vaccines and monthly preventatives. Donald and his companion lost their home when their owner passed away. They are very loyal companions who are in need of a new family to love them! Donald and Daisy are available for foster, forever foster or adoption. Application and home visit required. Adoption fee $200/pair.
Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or permanent basis. The rescue pays for all of the dog’s veterinary care and monthly preventatives for the life of the dog while in foster care.
NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.
**Adoption and foster applications can be found on our website BGSDR.com
**We are limited to the numbers of photos we can put on each adoption web site. To see more pictures of our dogs, visit our FB page Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue.
BLUEGRASS SENIOR DOG RESCUE ONLY FOSTERS/ADOPTS DOGS THAT ARE FULLY VACCINATED INCLUDING RABIES AND BORDATELLA AND ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED.

About Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a rescue group dedicated to assisting senior dogs in need of placement. We work primarily with high kill shelters to place dogs in forever homes through fostering and adoption. One day we hope to build a sanctuary for homeless senior dogs.

Our Adoption Process...

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated and on heartworm, flea/tick preventative. We require and approved adoption application and a home visit prior to approving adoptions. You must be at least 25 yrs of age to adopt from us and we regret that we can not adopt to families with children under the age of 5.
